Nah it's parked behind the house in its usual spot. I did take a look at where it was grinding on the rt front wheel. It was just where I thought. On the end of the A arm. It had been bent up a bit. May have done it trying to seperate the ball joints. Pulled the wheel off and took a sledge to it an bent it back down. All good now. Also put a bunch of air in the tires. Happy happy happy.

Had a crazy busy weekend. Thought I'd get tires then go to the junk yard to see if I see any decent doors. Well, peeps are idiots. Guy I bought the tires from said he wouldn't mount em cause my truck is lowered and they'll rub. Explained that they are the same height and width as stock tires but 16 instead of 15. No go, but he sold me tires.
Went to Walmart and dropped it and they said give em a hour. Ok. Killed some time lookin round , poo'd ( I absolutely hate public restrooms) ate lunch, then went back. They didn't put em on because they are not stock size. Wtf!!! Someone just put some f'n tires on this damn thing already!!!! Wasn't going to argue with the manager because I was way to mad to do so at this point, thanks for wasting my time.
Went home and swapped rims and tires with the intent on going to the yard still. Figured f it and tried the other Walmart on the way to a custom rim shop. Explained what I had in the truck and she said that if I dropped off rims and tires they can do it but not if they were on the vehicle. If they don't know what they are going on then it doesn't matter. She was smart enough to get it and I also said that makes no sense and she agreed as well. Either way I dropped off all my cargo and just said screw it and went home and took a nap then got up and got them. Ran home and put them on. That was most of my sat! Either way they are on, $357 or so mounted and done ( they are 7?? New). They were recent discontinued tires by Firestone I got for cheap with the stickers still on em.
It rides awesome. Nothing like new tires to give a smooth ride.
That is funny on the tire thing (well, not to you probably). I replaced the tires on the old BMW thing I have and the tire shop at first refused because the size I wanted was different than what was on it. But what I wanted was the original size while what was on it was not. I told them to look inside the door on the tire sticker thing, so then they gave me the tires I wanted. But had I just replaced the non-stock size with the same non-stock size tire, I would have had no trouble.
I would guess with the lawsuit happy world, the tire shops have to be careful so no one sues them for knowingly putting tires on a vehicle that are not recommended by the manufacturer.
Anyway, unless the photographs are trickery, it appears your new tires fill the wheelwells better than the old tires.

Yeah sue happy peeps caused that.
They do fill it out. It seems like a visual trick that they look bigger than stock, but I put them next to each other and they are the same size. I think it has to do with the rim being wider makes the side wall look larger, tire isn't tucked in where it mounts to the rim on these rims.

So not much else has been done to this thing. Just enjoying it. That is till last sat when I snapped a ball joint after making a stop and proceeding to take a rt. luckily it was into neighborhood and near a friends house so his son helped get a jack under it and off to the side of the road out of the intersection. Had to get a flat bed to tow it home.
As it sits.
Got Proforged lowers coming from summit on Thursday. They will drop the front another 1/2" as well.
