I live in Austin Tx and am brand new to this forum. Lots of cooool stuff out here!
Anyway, my rear bearings were getting a little bit wobbly for past 8 months, then last week as I was standing up peddling/cranking really hard trying make it upa hill on my Mongoose (I'm 6'2" x 215lbs, former pro athlete so I seem to generate some serious torque). The peddles just gave way and it will now only barely peddle when I do it real slow & won't maintain much torque before the peddles just free-spin w/o any torque.
Anybody else experience this? If so what is the issue/issues, and where do I find the parts to repair? Or am I better off buying a entire new Wheel w/ gear? Or what do you suggest??
I look forward several more years of riding this Fat Tire up & down the hills of South Austin (around Clawson Rd). Great work out !!

kingsnova: Hello all, I just bought a used 26" Mongoose Beast fat tire at a garage sale $140.00. Good deal till the rear bearings were loose and broke the axle. Anyone know how I can get parts to fix it?
