Peatbog - There are several bicycle kits on the market now in 1/35. They are WWII era to about the 1960's
I mentioned that because last year, he built an El Camino and had a scale model StingRay to put in the back.
You ought to get a model, Ohm, and enter the Build-Off.
Peatbog - I just saw that Elco in the "post your best Finished build pic here!" thread. Cleeeeeean.
Spokeshave, Bike2112 - ok, I plan a Halloween theme build and then a Wnter HJoliday Season theme build. For Halloween, it's either a scratch built casket with interior in 1/25-1/24 or the AMT/ERTL 1950 Chevrolet PU from Night Of The Living Dead. Plan is the key word and thanks for the invite!

Okay there is noway I'm getting these done in a few short weeks with me being out of town for a week in December. I'm putting the Eldorado on simmer on the back burner and I'm forging ahead with the horrible old mess of the 1909 Caddy. I like a challenge and this flash ridden old Pyro casting is going to be a tough one to tackle. The motor is underway..

Nice. Back when I did oxygen and hospital bed delivery I picked up a bed from a house where the guys dad had just passed. There were a bunch of late 1800 early 1900 era model cars. I mentioned that they were cool and had never seen em before. He insisted I take them as I appreciated them. Some are tiller steering, there's a Ford model T. Some cool stuff.

Well I was thinking an old timey driver figure would enhance this build. When I was in high school I built a ton of 1/35 scale military models. I dug through the parts box that I've kept all that spare stuff in all these years and dug out a German motorcycle rider. It was a chore to find arms that weren't in some sort of combat mode but finally found a left holding a cigar and a right holding a rag or gloves in my case.
A half hour of shaving off the military stuff and some styrene beginnings of a new hat.
Appying the skintones. I have mostly model railroad acylics. The coat is NYC Pace Setter gray.
An hour or so later, the final result. He'll stand pround next to the Cadillac...

kingsnova: Hello all, I just bought a used 26" Mongoose Beast fat tire at a garage sale $140.00. Good deal till the rear bearings were loose and broke the axle. Anyone know how I can get parts to fix it?
