Good to hear from you again. I posted that bike on my UGV blog before. I love the mad max vibe it has.

That is fu@#ing bad ass!!!!! Reminds me of the Russian Ural/Baikal BMW clones with the sidecar. I'd love to see more of it.
Is that a side by side in the scabbard?

You hit the nail on the head, I was going after the URAL/BMW look. I imagined a chopper cobbled together from Axis and Allied parts for a mad dash escape from a European POW camp in WWII. That is indeed a double-barrel hammerlock break-action "turkey duster". If you can't afford a nice leather scabbard, for your bicycle shotgun needs I recommend the J & S Eagle Iron motorcycle scabbard for $36, very affordable: www.surplusinc.com/browse.cfm/holster-shotgun-molle-coyote/4,23453.html Although on the old military Harleys they had a little armature that kept the gun more upright, need to add that.

Thats awesome. I could totally see the desert rats using that thing. Just noticed the Chicagofreakbike link in your first post and read up on it. Reading the Bible to AIDS orphans? Thats just amazing.
I've been looking at MOLLE scabbards for my fatty actually... Itd be nice to bring a long gun on a bikepacking trip one of these days....
