I need a bike to teach my kid how to bmx better. I thought about getting my favorite bmx bike of all time the SE Quadangle, but I really want a 700c one and that may be too big for the track. Since I can't make up my mind I thought see what you have in your stash. Low and behold I have a Ross bmx bike with cranks, fork, headset and bb intact. Then I looked around and found some bars and a stem. I found some animal grips. Then I found the wheels! I added an old slick to the back and a schwinn scrambler tire up front and boom we were rolling. I added a vintage green plastic seat and a chromed steel junk post.
Tomorrow I will add the chain and pedals then it's done. It took me an our to cobble it together and it's good enough to get my ass around the track.
